Lana is a beautiful, playful, Maltese girl who is ready for her forever home. Lana is 13weeks old and was born to us by her mother that was surrendered to us after she suffered a badly broken leg and her owner could not afford her care and did not have the time to care for her. While with us the mother was treated by our orthopedic surgeon and after a few pins, a few casts. She littered Lana alongside two other puppies.
Lana is a very happy puppy with lots of love and lots of energy. Lana is about 6 lbs. and is tall with well rounded with all of the R&R.
Lana needs some work with her housetraining to better suit her owner. She is eager to please and very attentive so she will likely be a quick study.
Lana is a white-coated dog (hair grows continuously) and she will require regular brushing and grooming every 6-8 weeks.

The adoption fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with a lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee.
All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue.
Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!

Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on its specific personality and needs.
